Float Back Down

by V. Blake

the flowers
are armor
for a gray
that has teeth;
a veil between
sorrows
and shadows
beneath.
the sun can stop
shining--
it won't matter
to me:
i am nothing
but weightless,
alone and
complete.

Great opening line and a fine ending.

Pretty fine images here and I liked that I did not know where this was going. Not many admit to being alone and feeling complete. Thanks for this.
