Early Morning Face Lift

by Kristina Woodhill

Orange sherbet smeared across
our south-eastern horizon
glowing like a big, wide melting grin,
a morning as happy to see us,
all standing at windows on tippy toes
touching each other's lit-up faces,
as we are to see it

Nothing like a colorful morning sky to wake up to, aptly described by your poetic snapshot of a poem, Kristina. Wonderful!
