Tall Girls

by Chris Sorrenti

Locked within the tragedy
Of our physical differences
Biology...stereotypical thinking
Keeps us apart

And though it might be wrong
It’s the only right we’ll ever have
For these loves so strong
Never more than a fantasy

But tall girls grow small
Staring at this wall of words
My lover Poetry
Towering above them

A fine study in how we choose mates. I can see your first love are words. Thanks, Chris!
