What do you feel when you see a hole?
a very deep hole in the ground
or is it maybe you and someone else?
so that looking at each other
is like looking at a hole
feeling only a memory
in reality the past
never to be repeated
as bleak and dull
with not a flare of color
as any hole in the ground can be

Something fascinating about holes and you've used the image well here. It's impossible not to look and then you wonder what you are looking for and at and the why of its existence. Thanks, Chris.
