Art for art's sake by Laura DoomSometimes I think I want to know
exactly how you touch those things
within the weary world of words
to have them suffocate or spin;
the causal and the casual
relationships that make no sense
a darkness laced with innocence
yet still intensely sensual.
And in that pure mesmeric state
my body warms and wakens
to an out-of-mind experience
that revels in omnescience.
By then I wish for nothing more
than ignorance; the how and why
may tempt and tease, but please
for art's sake, leave me on my knees.

Posted by Paul Lastovica on 04/14/16 at 02:03 AM God Art, I'll do anything for you.
God Art, just tell me what you want me to.
God Art, nail me up against the wall.
God Art, don't want everything he wants it all
Strangely, that works :) |
