the mirror sits horizontal
unbreakable
athletes riding
the long claws
two by two steel lick
hurtling only three to medal
and upward

11/13/2015 Author's Note: Sometimes, the shortest poems create the biggest challenge in terms of getting the message as close to perfect as possible. I was going to post this one earlier today, but after a couple of reads, saw things I didn't like in it.
