There are monsters living in Wilseyville
but not the TV variety
hiding themselves behind human faces
but they have monster minds

There are families disappearing around Wilseyville
leaving their campsites fully intact
in the heavily forested foothills
as if gone for a walk and never returned

They’re making movies in Wilseyville
but not the Hollywood kind
no writer imaginable could dream up these stories
unless he was the Devil himself

They’re finding bodies outside Wilseyville
behind a survivalist’s home
the police stopped him driving a stolen vehicle
its owner gone missing years before
and how many more are out there
no one knows for sure
but there are others still unaccounted for
never to be seen again
except in the dust of Wilseyville
