was a time I wished
I was what I wasn’t
a pipsqueak pining for a
much higher perch

then one day an e-pip-hany

there were pipsqueaks in fact
even smaller than I
so a pipsqueak should never
look down on himself

and be thankful to fit in places
larger pipsqueaks can’t go
