My Lover Comes In Spring by Ariane ScottMy lover comes in spring he brings
this scream beneath my skin, winds
my thighs takes me floating riverskies
like head rush highs I’m
down here on my knees when
my lover rolls the seas, flesh
out of space I fall to fly when
my lover comes for me
All winter he stood writing poems in
brilliant scrawls on dimlit walls I
blazed the moon I flew his flesh
love like sobs waved my chest now
when my lover writes his poems I
drink his blood he licks my bones in
spring my lover writes his poems, blows
life inside of me.

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 02/14/15 at 11:55 PM This is a kick to read fast and furious. Topsy turvey, passion on the loose, creepy, and vivd. Thanks for this. |
