Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On by Chris Sorrenti

Ottawa happens to be in an earthquake zone, and though nowhere near as bad or frequent as those on the west coast, we do occasionally get one big enough to shake things up a bit. Inspired by the first one I experienced; more like an 18 wheeler transport truck passing by my house at high speed, though the area has experienced much larger ones since then.

Posted by Ken Harnisch on 02/03/15 at 03:36 PM I think '83 was the year we felt a tremor underfoot in New York City, whose bedrock is supposed to be the most solid on the planet. I loved the scheme here Chris. It left me "all shook up" to continue the early rock' n roll theme! |
Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 02/03/15 at 06:13 PM Here from Facebook. LOL! Don't think I ever went through a tremor. Guess I'd remember! Been through hurricane! That was bad! Extremely high winds in Boston area. A radio station tower came down as I recall. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 02/03/15 at 09:24 PM Great way to show the shakin' and rockin'. I especially liked the "h a h a far out dreams." Thanks! |
