Thor Kisses

by Chris Sorrenti

lying above covers
in a humid embrace
rolling thunder
lightning
crashes down
outside
surrounds us
awakened

the press of lips
creates the charge
masculine / feminine
pistons
our cries of passion
rolling thunder
lightning
envelops us
drowns out
the storm
awakened

inside and out
Thor
stands guard
keeping    darkness    sleeping

What a great thunderous poem you've written for the New Year, Chris. I do miss reading your poetry. Maybe I'll stay awhile.

Passion can create quite a storm as you so enthusiastically convey.

Really a great interweaving of the storm outside and the passion inside. Thor as guard, great idea. Thanks, Chris!

There is something that is so sensual about bringing Thor into the mix.
