By Drum, Guitar and Soul by Kourosh Taheri-GolvarziSo grinding our guitars, with drums ablast,
We breathe within an atmosphere astew
With living melodies from æons past
Reviving, through our song, ourselves anew.
Communing, rocking, all together here
As one, our many minds and bodies hum
In Metal harmony, all pride and fear
Evaporated by guitar and drum.
From many lives and origins, through time
And space united in the drive of song
We feel with neither explanation, rhyme
Nor reason, here together we belong.
Us, banging heads, our Heavy Metal binds
As here, community each new mind finds. 11/30/2014 Author's Note: Metal is community. Metal is family. Metal is life.
