Muted by Alison McKenzieLife is still muted, uncertain
If an actual awakening is possible.
But the heart stretches;
Eyes wish for vigor
To bleed into the arms,
While the arms, unsure of substance,
Cannot yet feel the solidity
Of anything
Beyond air. 08/20/2014

Posted by Mo Couts on 08/21/14 at 10:28 PM The first two lines drew me in...as everything you write, this was profound and nicely done. "Muted" huh? No, you spoke loud and clear, my friend. Well done. |
