but sooner or later the truth comes out
the cat tears through the bag

there was a time you could hurt me
you thought forever more
but little meeewws in time grow deep
turn to tiger roars
tiger in a bag
tiger in a bag
how ya gonna keep that
tiger in a bag
tiger in a bag
how you gonna keep that tiger inside?

keep your little feline
tell her all she needs to know
but someday someone’ll feed her the nip o’ truth
then mister watch her go
mmmeeeyowww

tell your little lies
the longer you hold the cat inside
the more anger when it tears through
tiger in a bag

tiger in a bag
