It's Just an Expression by John HarderYou could grab a bull by the horns
but you might regret it in the morning
If you lead a horse to water
it'll probably drink
straight from its mouth
Though I'm sure Bob is a stand up guy,
There is no relation
and Fran wants nothing to do with him
It looks like a duck
but looks can be deceiving
It walks like a duck
off a short pier
Pardonne mon français
but this fuck can't fly
I will however give it
if you accept hand outs
The skeletons in my closet
picked the wrong poison
for them hell came
before high water
I wonder if they'll see the bats
as they egress with haste
When it rains it pours
but sometimes it's a drizzle
and the grass is just as green
on this side of the fence
When in Rome
be sure to visit the pantheon
I hear it's beautiful
Just don't feel the need
to imitate the locals
The only thing I've ever found
in a nutshell
is a nut
The only thing I've ever read
between lines
is empty space

| Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 05/28/14 at 04:28 PM nice work. I visited the Pantheon in my teens and found it fascinating, but always wondered what happened during foul weather, given the Pantheon contains an ocular, if there was a janitor at the ready with a mop when it rained? |
