We never move by Johnny CrimsonWe stomach this,
a filtered stew
for many moons
the Colonel's brew,
which he's insured
makes us strong,
I've waited here
all winter long
for muscles to
all but appear,
this frightening physique
draws muses near.
Only to leave
and turn away
from this endeavor
only fatness stays
to claim me,
you've raped me
below my soul.
Do take me
some place else
where lions choke
as jungle kings
inhale our smoke
that circles round
your stupid head,
killing all beasts,
the dragons dead.
Act now and receive this once in a lifetime offer!
React slow and deceive these twice in a heartbeat debutantes.
Barely move and conceive this child of boredom with me.
Inactive, we sit idle for years collecting dust.

Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 03/17/15 at 02:04 PM its all true. if we live long enough we'll be blue in the face with disappointment. are we what we are cracked up to be? perhaps. maybe once when we reached that pinnacle and realized as did the Great Macedonian, there is no where else beyond the pinnacle to lay one's hat save on your head. |
