Calabash I dream of you
But you now are too cold
Global warming where are you
It is getting colder not warmer
Cold, cold go away
You are not wanted here
Old minds just fixate

I hope you are not in the area affected by the terrible weather in the States, but in any case you have expressed yourself wonderfully here, feeling cold, trapped and wishing for the sun. |

Here in Ottawa it arrived at the beginning of November (unusual for this part of Canada) and never left. We've been stuck in a deep freeze, but when it warms up, we get dumped with more snow. It is pretty though. Great poem Quentin, couldn't have said it better. PS: Thanks for the Christmas card. Again, glad to see you worked out your computer problem, and have rejoined us. :) |

I am certain you are not the first to tell the cold to go away, and for the most part the cold turns deaf ear to such plea, but I think in your case, Quentin, it will make an exception, given you state your case so well. |
