ART CLASS by Gail Wolper
Distribution of the Masses
must be done carefully and with purpose
never forget to add
proper amounts
of light
and darkness

Given I've been held hostage in art class the entirety of my life, I can well identify with such concerns as you raise. Yes, by all means we invite shadows onto our subject matter not to displace the light but merely to compliment, and so as to give an appearance of mass and solidity in our lives which is our art. |
