Induction: a labour of loss

by Laura Doom

I think
but I do not
think myself to be a thinker.

I type
but I do not
type myself as a typist.

I think I am a type of lover
but...

and that untyped thought
might be read
as an irretrievable deduction.

I write
and that is where
inference and speculation meet
to while away the early hours
as we kiss goodbye
to logic.

Clever use of wordage without being verbose. Fun, intellectual read, Laura.

Definitely clever word play - not over played - that last stanza is quite delicious. Thanks.
