From All The Good We've Done
by Chris Sorrenti
Look at them Guderian
Scattering beneath us
Like terrified rabbits
Trampling the May flowers
They’ve planted on our graves
Oh! the power and glory Rommel
Of this eternal lightning war
But not to let it overwhelm us
No Hitler madness anymore
The bayonets pulled out
Cleansed of the blood and gangrene
As if it had never been there
And though still inside we bleed a little
From these self inflicted wounds
See the enemy flung into madness
Our weapons striking
In the skies of their minds
From all the good we’ve done
