Boston Marathon 2013

What can one say?
That’s the world we live in
Only one way to escape
Until then
Each on our own
Must run a marathon
Every day
Run the gauntlet
Of how human beings
Can be so mean
Cruel to one another
All I know is
When it happens again
And again and again
Want to shout out
Loud as I can
Stop this planet!
And let me off!!!
Don’t want to be here
Anymore
