6pm Cartoon

I couldn’t help but laugh
at the Spanish tradition
of rampaging bulls
clearing a street with their horns
TV camera panning to the side
a tourist simply observing
without choice
drawn into the picture
one broken off from the herd
charging at him
the ‘mad cow’ demonstrating
with snort and toss
a man doesn’t need wings to fly
and what would an alien think
catching it on his screen?
would he skip this planet
for the next system on his list?
or maybe start abducting bulls???
