Coffee Mug Galaxy

by Chris Sorrenti

my spoon -

stirring the ingredients of micro universe
instant coffee - aspartame - a little cream
white foam galaxy spiraling on the surface
- too small for the naked eye -
the tiny points of substance which are stars
and smaller still - planets orbiting them

- in one sip the galaxy is gone

That "white foam galaxy" just makes me smile and smile. Brilliant last line. Thanks for this.

Very nice. Anything coffee related is great in my books.
