Posted by A. Paige White on 11/24/12 at 05:27 PM Wow! You and Chaz both posting again in the same week! How awesome is that? I loved it too. Sounds like we might need new treds or something for a clock that stopped in a rut like that. A day with my Logan, making Logan antlers from his hands to decorate a Christmas tree could help I bet. I have lived that rut for far too long and I'm not even retired, just sick and tired of living sick and tired. Awesome poem, Tony! |

Posted by George Hoerner on 11/24/12 at 06:08 PM I must say I haven't seen retirement as a rut. I have my books and the sun still swings up out the Atlantic each morning whether it wants to or not. Nice write Tony. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 11/24/12 at 09:06 PM I'm surprised to read this with all of your adventures in Switzerland, your music, your writing. Retirement is no rut in our family - we highly recommend it. |
Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 11/24/12 at 10:10 PM Wow Tony. Exactly as I hope not to end up, as I am faced with the reality of my own retirement next June. Excellent capture of one aspect of the subject/process. |
