Behind the Rocket's Red Glare

Shooting star
Catch the fleeting tail of freedom
Hold on tight
For the fight of your life

Really nice write lady. And freedom is just that isn't it! We forget it in this country from time to time. If we continue to allow wealth to determine who gets elected then we shall surely lose it to the highest bidder one day.

Powerful and portentous little poem. I love it.

Very nice indeed. It never fails to amaze me how prophetic the US national anthem was when written in light of your country's 20th and now 21st century history. A belated happy Independence Day to you and yours. :)

Nothing...could be more true. The application of this idea is simply all across the board..thanks for this.

An often ignored truth well depicted. :)
