Chasing by Gregory R SchelskeAt world's end
where love evades
I chased her shadow
through sun and dust
My citrus sunset;
this queen of spades
a silent sparrow
of love and lust
Her restless heart
so quickly fades
our souls bleed songs
of sand and rust
she has no voice;
her spirit wades
lost in shallow
pools of dust 05/02/2012 Posted on 05/02/2012 Copyright © 2025 Gregory R Schelske
