by Mary Frances Spencer

stranger than fiction
stronger than metal
runs illusionary waters
cries blood down
into lava earth

brief inhalations
eye to eye combat
grips momentary encounters
laughs last
all the way
to the bank

mysterious simple
falls stumbles around
dances glitter petals
forgets and remembers
loses the keys

Author's Note: Sometimes day to day living can be challenging, interesting, funny and pathetic all at the same time!!! And why do I always lose my keys!!!??? MFS

Oh god, reality?? I fear that is what I have after 70+ years of looking for it. A cute but also seriious write m'lady. I enjoyed it greatly. And I think someone sells a beeping keychain. I'm looking for one I can attach to my mind. Take care.

I love the "eye to eye combat", but especially the "love" stanza and "loses the keys" is priceless.
