Posted by Clara Mae Gregory on 02/11/12 at 04:07 PM Uniquely stated! I like this very much, Glenn.I thoroughly enjoyed every word. (upbeat too, it makes me want to conquer my demons...) ~hugs |
Posted by V. Blake on 02/11/12 at 04:10 PM This is a good deal darker than I am used to seeing from you, Glenn. I was pleasantly surprised. Well done! |
Posted by Elizabeth Jill on 02/11/12 at 05:58 PM This is a jolting poem. I feel its strength in my arms and chest and mind. Your delivery is powerful and exhilarating. Just, yes! - close enough to macabre to stun, and far enough away to relate with. |
Posted by George Hoerner on 02/11/12 at 06:49 PM I think everyone has their 'Craving' although some hide it well even from themselves. I've gotten into reading Baudelaire's 'Flowers of Evil' of and on and it reminds me that good and evil and all part of the same reality we live in. I keep gonig back to my childhood to see if I can when I lost my innocence and what that really means. I'm not there yet but I keep working on it. In any case nice write. |
Posted by Alison McKenzie on 02/11/12 at 08:00 PM Takes a big bite, this one. Well done, my friend!! |

Posted by Joan Serratelli on 02/12/12 at 10:20 PM I agree with all of the above. Very well done. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 02/13/12 at 01:43 AM You have really been digging into yourself lately, Glenn. I feel much strength coming from this. |
Posted by Ken Harnisch on 02/17/12 at 01:34 PM I'm with Vince...dark and edgy from you, Glenn...but I know it speaks truths you probably felt for a long, long time and it is said so damn well! |
Posted by A. Paige White on 02/18/12 at 04:19 PM Excellent description of a negative introspection session! We do smack our lips over this stuff, laced in sugar so it's palatable, don't we? |
