Winter Reds (a haiku morning)

by Paganini Jones

cold bedroom
his dressing gown dropped
over there

frost sparkles
in early dawn's sun
my ruby grapefruit

burst of song
a neighbour sweeping snow
from our path too

deep snow
covers the holly berries
robin's red breast

see scarlet
mittens and leggings dance
a snow angel

sudden barking
he wants his usual walk
but finds snow

S3 and 4 are my favorites, but these are all enjoyable on this morning you have shared.

Each one lovely...invigorating Paganini. Congrats on hitting the top 10. Continued success with your writing in 2016!
