Singular but not Separate

by Alison McKenzie

Having shed
Material possession,
The roots of
Family and womb,
I am present

And accounted for,
Between the crevices
Of form,
In the stroke
Of fingertips,
I become
Love

The cosmic agreement
That manifested us

These expressions of
Residence,
Touch,
Harmony,
Alliance,
Collaborations,
Unity -

I am undone,
Until the “we” of it
Gives definition
To every sigh
And bliss;

Until the “me” of it
Expands –
Commingles with
Every awakened moment;

Until I am
Light,
Air,
Water,
Rooted in Earth,

The Mother who shifts
As I breathe
All that is
Majesty,
The alchemy of
Enchantment,
Flows freely
Through me –

I am but a lens
Through which
Divinity may pass
To embrace
Every blossom
On every living
Singularity.

This feels like you totally embracing all. Marvelous!

Truly...spiritually beautiful! You've really found your (present) niche Alison. Excellent close off in that last stanza, but the whole thing radiates with a "higher power."

All the elements to define the indefinable -- your singularity encompasses a universal ideal...
