| Posted by George Hoerner on 12/20/11 at 10:00 PM I love this little write but I didn't think a Martini could ever be too dry! I could hardly try to walk let alone ski with one in my hand. It is one of my favorite drinks but they slide down so smooth I can only have one.

| Posted by Mo Couts on 12/20/11 at 10:14 PM As a girl who loves gin, and loves a dry martini from time to time, you touched a chord; nicely done. |
| Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 12/21/11 at 01:53 AM Well, I've never heard winter described quite like this before. I sense the turmoil. Well done. I especially like the skis part. |

| Posted by Ken Harnisch on 12/21/11 at 09:51 PM I like this n so many ways it is difficult to zero in on just one...excellent..and smooth as a martini, Kristina! |
| Posted by Lori Blair on 12/28/11 at 11:01 PM Excellent! So vivid and yet so much unknown about our own selves..but we make steps forward even if we circle unendlessly it may seem! Thank you! |
| Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 12/29/11 at 03:26 AM Well said. But remember it could be worse...you could be stuck in Egypt, seeking your tranquility in the heat. Good one! Thanks.

| Posted by A. Paige White on 12/03/12 at 11:38 PM This is so beautifully rendered! I've never had on a pair of skis or drank a martini but you paint both so wonderfully well with your words, I've done both with you. |
