The Eye Trivia by Jody PrattStar, a dot connected
to an eye, observing
from a time-lapsed sky,
over eons yet now,
they look unto each other
yet how. Confined,
only by a line, unraveled
and subtle sublime,
the simple enigma,
it lives eternal,
the eye trivia. 11/28/2011 Posted on 11/28/2011 Copyright © 2024 Jody Pratt

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 11/29/11 at 12:00 AM "eye trivia" - now there's unique phrase. The star looking at me long ago and I just now seeing "then" at this moment. Light is so cool. Thanks, Jody. |
Posted by Glenn Currier on 12/01/11 at 04:30 PM Well, now I have to read your longer poem also posted on this date. But for now, let me say that I like the feel of time and space in this poem and the perspective on our own tiny dot in the universe, a pupil in the orb. Thanks. |
