Hues of Gold and Burning Green

by Kevin Fehlen

Oh please, let me live inside my dreams
Where the hues are gold and burning green.
The dew filled grass cold between our toes
Together we hang on a line our well worn clothes.

Oh please, let me live inside my dreams
Where your hand glides slowly above the meadow grass.
The laughter dances from out your smile
Together all days are made worthwhile.

Oh please, let me live inside my dreams
Where the hues are gold and burning green.

Nice use of the style in the repetition. It definitely gets the message across. Good stuff.

it's beautiful, I think the repetition makes the image even stronger.

This is gorgeous. I get a crystal clear view of your dreams, and the life you adore there.

I so can feel the longing within this piece and then there is this beautiful imagery of meadows green..lovely!

Very nicely expressed. Love the imagery. It feel as tough your dreams have been answered but I wonder if she follows you into the physical world, or is she the reason you wish to live there? In dreams I feel more alive than when I am awake and in spite of the surreality of answering them, I must admit to taking Melatonin now and then to make them all the more vivid and remember them after waking. Beautiful dream-hues in this delightful POTD. Congratualtions!
