The Facebook Blues by Richard Davis
I seldom click on like, comment, or share,
because most of the time I don't really care.
If you farm, bejewel, or whatever, please be gone.
Don't look for me on chat because I'm never on.
I must admit that my friends are very few,
I don't add everyone on facebook like you do.
I would never post news of any personal kind,
Let the world mind its own business and I'll mind mine.
Everyone but me seems to be having fun,
I’m the only one who is having none.
It's not really that I'm antisocial,
It's just that I'm not that vocal.
But facebook is where I will stay
Just in case the time does come
When I do have something to say.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 10/13/11 at 04:55 PM Fun read Richard, and so relateable. I had a Facebook account years ago, then deleted it (actually they told me it's only been diactivated should I want to go back). I've got better things to do with my time on the internet than small talk and gossip. Thanks for posgting this. :o) |
