Aquatic Togetherness

by James Blaylock

Aquatic Togetherness

come, let's clasp hands,
then running headlong
into a ripe and frothy

waterworld

we'll never let loose
one another with such
depths rising upward

underneath

but instead we're going
to disappear together -
embracing this wonder

saturated

...james, this one needs hammered-up on the wall; visceral, distant in closeness-only in that it is a wonderful fantasy, and yet such a dream and such a way of dressing the itness.

It is incredible what we can do together, isn't it. I love the gentle hope in this, James. Thanks for a beautiful poem.

I like this one--if I didn't know about hot tubs, I'd think you'd been to Indian Hot Springs!

I really enjoyed the whole visual I get from reading this and love that last word especially. Congrats on POTD!
