go deep

by Kristina Woodhill

happy new year
happy new day
happy new
happy
hap

looking for the wand
up the sleeve
in the hat
go deep

pull
pull
pull

dive in
unseen places
faith places

shake out the
white rabbit's nest
nibbling on
the magic

A poor man celebrates the New Year once a year. A rich man celebrates each day. But the richest man celebrates every moment. Now I don't know who wrote that, but it makes sense...but I like the way you say it. Not all of us can approach the New Year with such whimsey...be better if we could. Thanks.

Now this is the kind of poem I like to start my New Years with. Wonderful, Kristina!

Definitely has that Alice in Wonderland fun playfulness with words to it. Glad I got to read this. :O)
