Sunrisen (haiku)

by A. Paige White

Sunrise strokes
shave this neck of a day
light like a razor

Author's Note: This edge I'm living cuts away every mapping shadow

What a cutting and novel representation of sunrise. With it dreams fade quickly and the realities assert themselves. Clever and awakening!

what a perfect analogy. beautiful. it is not oft that the sunrise is not strapped sufficient to give me a close shave. when its blade is dull one needing a shave needs be brave. nick. nicks. st. nick.
