Wrong by George Hoerner
we shall pass
wife, daughters, son
and i
these ages shall pass
and be looked upon
as mankind’s sad time
worse than the crusades
even worse than slavery
we knew very little then
now 20th and 21st centuries
we know it all now
our arrogance let us down
we thought we knew it all
could control it all
we were wrong
WWII, Auschwitz, The Bomb,
The Third World, Aids,
all we do is react
