Cubby Hole

by Chris Sorrenti

I’ll meet you in the cubby hole
just below the stairs
we can close the door
leave off the light
the world outside unawares

then squeeze each other
oh so tight
our problems and worries
left far behind
two love birds out of sight

a nest for us this hidden place
where passion overflows
lips fervently locked
in sweet embrace
I’ll meet you in the cubby hole

Beautiful note for your sweetheart! Hope it tenders you loads of sugar ;-}

I love poems about special places. They tend to make me remember all the special locations shared with those I have been fond of over the years! Great read!

Very romantic and sweet, Chris, I love it.

Well, I want to just snuggle in there too it sounds like so much fun, but I know I would make it a crowd of three and my size would prohibit it anyway. Fun piece, Chris. And that little boy inside just loves the sparkly graphic.
