this pen.

by Rachel Bennett

with this pen,
I shatter marble dreams
into confused pebbles

with this pen,
I halt rivers and
crush dams.

with this pen,
I swat down statues of
rotting statesmen.

with this pen,
I sing the end of this
monotonous empire.

this pen,
my Nero-fiddle.

Strong reminder Rachel that the pen is mightier than the sword!

I am grinning and my teeth are glinting right back at you!

Well done. I love the Nero-fiddle idea.

Nice culmination. This really rings. Awesome, evil, and made me cackle.
