Illuminating Odds and Ends

by Kristina Woodhill

Halloween is boxed
Turkeys make deals with butchers
Christmas lights test plugs

----------------------------------------

Daffodil bulbs heave
Last chance to sneak peak above
Division digs deep

----------------------------------------------------

Water droplets bounce
Cirque de puddle, cirque de pond
Fall mops Winter's floors

---------------------------------

Perfect epitaph
Sun ray's glare now hid from me
Finally I See

-----------------------------------------------------------

Cabeus
Your cup and saucer
Overflow

What a wonderful morning it has been strolling thru the poetry and resting on this one. Awesome work, Kristina, as always. Each line captivated my thoughts. This is a truly unique and metaphorical recap of the flight around the sun.

Thanks for sharing for us the wonder in your eyes. I look forward to what you will see in the spring after those daffodil bulbs have heaved back from the cold dark winter. I too love the droplets bouncing. What a delight, Kristina!
