When I Saw Her Standing There by Tony WhitakerThe wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything.
When I saw her standing there
Standing by the cast iron shore
Fixing a hole in the ocean
Images of broken light
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy
If the sun don’t come
You get a tan from
Standing in the English rain
By the banks of her own lagoon
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Let me know the way 10/26/2009 Author's Note: just fooling around and nothing to get hungabout!
