That you, God?

by Austin Bergeron

Their everything,
So eloquent in design,
So infinite in imagination (according to their perception).
My everything,
Also eloquent,
Omnipotent,
Omniscient,
Everlasting (perhaps),
Inside and Outside.
Yet chaotic and unattainable.
Unimaginable…

If only I could.
If only we could.

Their everything / my everything - I like this juxtaposition and the wonder... and your sense of self amidst the chaos. Thought provoking and I echo what Charlie said above. Good write, Austin.

if only. i love the idea of "my everything" being "unimaginable."

the ironic thing is that we cannot even thank ourselves, if we could locate ourselves to thank. self? the self, composed of composite selves and never singular. which self will dethrone, defrock all the others? self, everything, my, which are things? entirely of the imagination as they should be. perhaps. is a word not quite certain as to its status. this ode stirred this thought in me. I thank the ode. the bard as well for such thought provocation.
