Dawn

by Peggie Eng

At Dawn a new day is born, each one is unlike the other ones. With Morning's light a new adventure delights. Who knows what this day will bring, savoring of many things. The song of Doves greet the dew, as the Sun comes up and renews. Flowers open up their sleeping petals to disperse their fragrant perfume. The breaking of Dawn every day comes along, with hopes and dreams with every sunlight beam. A new Dawn brings many unknown dreams.

A favorite time of day, for sure. "The breaking of Dawn each day comes along, with hopes and dreams with every sunlight beam" - great line!

quite wonder filled poem indeed about Dawn who does not wait an entire year as does Santa to lay such great new expectations of gifts as does Dawn each day unto our grateful laps. and are we not grateful as pups to lap up Dawn.
