Out of Reach

by Kerowyn Rose

sweet sweet girl's
got a crush on you.
she's a jewel,
and you know how
her hands will feel
before they map
the hard line of
your chin - you
know the warmth
of her lips before
they touch each
eyelid, and somehow
her tongue tastes of
starshine and mint
julep. she's got
your daydreams
running on repeat,
replaying every sugary
moan and each
soft breath against
the crook of your neck.
what will you do with
this girl you cannot
touch, but with your
kindness? what will you
do with the girl you
cannot make love to, but
with your diamond eyes?

You make this daydream come to life. "starshine and mint julep" - yum! Thank you.

Beautifully written, somehow it feels as if there should be more to come, something more to be said. A sweetly aching poem!

A fun read and one that brings to mind my daydreams of my youth when spying someone "Out of Limits".
