casting shadows on the moon
For the ocean
for the tide
for the journey
and the unbroken line
For my daughter
may her spirit shine
and for the friends
who have lifted mine
For the valley
for the hill
for the broken
and faltering will
For my father
who does what he can
for the rocky shore
and the promised land
For the flowers
in our dreams
for the life
that's not what it seems
For the hopeful
for the lost
for choosing the joy
