On the lighter side

by H.M Stevens

On the lighter side
I escaped with you

On the lighter side
You stood as a rock

On the lighter side
We stuffed ourselves

On the lighter side
The door sways

A vibration in the airspace

The knob not even reached

I like the idea of the door swinging without touching the knob, except through the activities that preceeded it. Supernatural.

On the lighter side, this discreet and sparing piece offers just enough information to set the readers mind in action and lets the imagination finish off the poem. Good stuff!

Definitely mystery created here. I can't help but ponder what happened "on the darker side". You have a gift for revealing just enough.
