Alpha, Theta, Delta

by Alison McKenzie

I’ve got these moments,
Waiting for the other shoe to fall,
Listening to the altered states of technology
Ringing into the ethers
Between my ears.

I am alone,
Waiting to head over the falls,
Knowing I’m one in a million
Just like me.

This is my Tao,
Ridin' on the back of the bus,
On the outside
Feelin' the wind in my hair
Tastin' the salt air
Draggin' my book bag,
New sneakers
And brand new pair of jeans.

I’ve got these moments,
Hearing my daughters laugh,
My sons sing,
And the fish breathe,
Feedin' the dogs
And watering the roses.

I want to fly,
Even if it’s only on the
Delta waves of lucidity.

Dream deeply, and rest. :)

What a delight reading the Tao of Alison, find there a denim carpet ride and images enough to fill Aladin's empty lamp. Wew!

...you are. and minute [molecular] pieces zoom off your wonderful karma as you zip thru the atmosphere at bus level...cool write, Queen.
