a lost day

couldn't get the orbits straight;
someone suggested the Book of Joshua 10:13,
the Bible, to fix a computer glitch?
in it Joshua asked the Lord to make the Sun
stand still, stop the Sun; keep night away.
there was the missing day! but the elapsed
time in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes.
not a whole day! projecting orbits, the forty
minutes would be multiplied many times over.
2nd Kings: 20:9-10 Hezekiah asking for a sign,
beseeching the Sun to go-backward-down ten degrees.
23 hours and 20 minutes in Joshua; plus 40 minutes
from 2 Kings, make the missing day in time.

But I run across any just laying around I'll save it for you. In the meantime, stay away from computers and read your Bible. LOL- and don't think I missed the connection in Garth's comment between pebble and rocking. |
