animated life

by Jared Fladeland

When you were little did you ever make
An animated cartoon in the corner of your textbook?

Think, each page was a fleshed out moment,
Filled with details of that particular
Space and time.

It is not until you go back,
Flip through the pages,
That you see the progression of a life.

God didn't create the world in six days.
It was six pages.

well said. a single page could take days to perfect.

Your poem caused me to think that this is the way it is with people. God created them in a similar pattern, but each one is a little different from page to page - animating the species and our lives. Thanks for the inspiration.

"each page was a fleshed out moment" - I like this.

very contemplative, and it would be interesting to see what everyone else's animation would look like. smh
